Favorite Beach Books
Each year before we go to the beach, we check out beach books to build anticipation and to enjoy while we're there. These are some of our favorites. - The Sea Chest -wonderful storybook
- Stella, Star of the Sea - Stella cracks me up!
- Sea, Sand, Me! - a rhythmic preschool book that is one of my own favorites. Wouldn't go to the beach without it!
- Way Down Deep in the Deep Blue Sea
- Beachcombing: Exploring the Seashore - Jim Arnosky - need I say more?
- Starfish (Welcome Books)
- Seahorse, (A Science I can read book)
- Bats at the Beach - Ethan's favorite last year, lots of fun

I love to do unit studies about the beach...we go alot and the kids really get into it.
